Due to his extensive skills and knowledge, coupled with his professional manner, my wife’s physical and mental health and well-being has improved greatly under his care.

Had my first consultation with Matthew for some troubling shoulder and lower back pain. He did a very thorough examination and treatment acupuncture, dry cupping and massage which exceeded my expectations, really helpful advice I felt the difference straight away. Parking right outside which was also great. Thank you would highly recommend

I started my treatment at Spine Plus 5 weeks ago after trying acupuncture, chiropractor, physio and other treatment to try and help with my protruding disc which was touching a nerve down my left side. I got referred by Toni from the Colin Dove practice and thought i would try this as i was in excruciating pain! I had my last treatment today with the lovely Mathew Irvine and im so happy to say i am completely pain free and getting back to my normal life after 3 months of hell. Highly recommended and will definitely refer Spine Plus.

I have been going to see Stephen for around two months now, after experiencing lots of pain in my shoulder and neck. He was so kind, compassionate, respectful and helpful. Since going to Steve, I have had significantly less pain and practically no tension headaches, which I didn’t even realise were related, but had been debilitating for me for the longest time. I am still in the process of recovery, but he has been helping me with the process by teaching me lots of helpful physio/stretching exercises. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Steve to anyone.

7pm appointment. Arrived 10 minutes early, waited, knocked on the door, rung the bell, no answer. Ok, must still be with a patient. Waited patiently, rung the bell again, called the phone number, left two messages, knocked again. Now 725pm. Very unprofessional to have a patient booked and you can’t even be bothered to turn up or at a minimum call to explain why you are a no show. Very disappointed as I really needed this. 45 minute drive out and now 45 minute drive back for nothing. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on todays performance.

Update 07/11/2021

After some very apologetic email, texts, and calls from Spine Plus the following morning they explained that it was an unforeseen software error and that the issue had been resolved. I’m happy they explained themselves and the Director spoke to me directly apologising. Apology accepted and the appointment was rebooked for the following day.

I’m not a professional athlete but between the ages of 16-24 I played very competitive rugby in the U.K., France, Italy, and Australia for various teams ranging from England Schools, Irish Exiles, Worcester Warriors, Northampton Saint’s, and Brother’s in Brisbane. I’ve also played competitive sport for the Army and RAF. Needless to say I’ve seen my fair amount of injuries and seen countless physio’s, therapists, following two knee surgeries. The most prominent being those heading up the team behind Brisbane Bronco’s and the Queensland Red’s.

I saw Scott Spencer at SpinePlus and I can wholeheartedly say I’ve never had a more dedicated and professional physical therapist in my time. He’s knowledgeable, understanding, takes the time to go through everything, leaving no stone unturned. I also appreciate his honesty. After one session he recommended further treatment but with an alternative treatment method. An asset to the Spine Plus team and if I have any future issues I will definitely be returning to Scott again. Thank you. Definitely recommend Scott and Spine Plus to others. Will update again after my dry needle therapy.

I had sudden pains in my lower back and couldn’t even walk. After one visit to spine plus and seeing Matthew I felt better already. After 3 visits I feel 100% better and he even cured the stress in my shoulders. Now my husband is going!
I also took my son 2 years ago after 3 years of getting no where and being told he had to live with it. Within 4 months on the IDD therapy he was totally cured.
