Was delighted to have an invite to a party here. My son is 4 and a half. He had a great time. Once you park up, making sure you wear wellies or boots you don't mind getting muddy. You then follow a trail to the camp, the host fella then gets all the children to sit on logs. The children are then taught about the safety of fires. The children got to toast marshmallows and sandwich then in a biscuit. Also they had hotdogs. Once everyone had eaten we went for another walk to find an area where the kids and parents build a teepee. That was great fun for all. Be warned its worth wearing outdoor clothes. It did rain when we did it but that added to the fun. Myself (female) had a great time, especially as I was with my son. I will be doing this again when my son is a little bit older. The staff were great. Definitely recommending.

My son had his 6th birthday party here at the end of March and it was absolutely amazing. All the children had a brilliant time and enjoyed every minute of it, some parents said their child said it was the best party they had ever been too. The stealth game was brilliant and shelter building was great for the children to come together and work as a team. I would book again! Thank you so much to Ian who was amazing from start to finish.

Our family of 4 just spent an incredible morning (4hrs) with Ian at Bighat Bushcamp in Chertsey. Ian safely took us through the art of woodcraft using different implements - calving out a spitfire for the boys and a flower for the girls (all by ourselves!). Then we built a matchless fire and made our own burgers and chips! We finished off the morning with some delicious smores and left wanting to have stayed longer. This experience is for any family who enjoys being outdoors - leaves you with a feelgood vibe and ready to book your next trip!

Spent a full 9 hour day here on a family weekend. Great day despite a rainy start. We learned how to make a campfire and keep it going for the day. We then made pizzas from scratch for lunch. The afternoon included making catapults from branches, shelter building and then cooking dinner on the fire which was delicious. Would highly recommend this activity for families and groups

My daughters had an incredible week here and enjoyed every minute. They loved the woodwork and stealth games and making their lunch over the fire. Hammocks are on their Christmas lists!

Celebrated a birthday here with a large group of families (20 adults, 18 kids aged 2-8). A memorable day in the woods - participating in activities that were suitable and fun for all! Including Pizza making, den building, stealth games, fire building, dinner and s'mores. 5 stars, recommended!

My daughter has just completed a 5 day bushcraft experience. And what an experience it was! She was loving every minute of it! The wood carving, making fires and preparing lunches, listening to some old and some funny stories told by Shane. Thank you Ian for creating this amazing experience!

We went to Big Hat Bushcamp last year, a group of adults.

The leaders catered to our specific needs, which we really appreciated. We learnt some fun skills that we're all keen to use again when we go camping.

The food was simple but delicious and we cooked some thing on the open campfire that I didn't think were possible.

Couldn't have asked for more.
