Trailer Swaps on this particular contract. They're Ready to go every time I've been to 1 of the sites. Great. 😅

Don't Strap ! Just handle your load properly on the road !!

Pretty chilled atmosphere. Quiet road to wait on outside so able to unstrap the load safely. Clamp driver is polite and friendly. He even brought me in early which was a result. Plenty of space in the yard to manoeuvre. Health and safety lets me wait in my truck whilst unloading. Bit of a walk to the toilets bit otherwise all good.

Total discrimination against visiting drivers. Health and safety going backwards.....

Double standards! As a delivery driver I always expect a certain level of safety standards wherever I go. This place has a standard of its own, in fact it has two:(. Although equipped with suitable safety equipment from my own employers, this customer insists I wear their equipment i.e safety hat & Visor. Visor must be in down position at all times!

After being verbally assaulted by not one but two employees for not wearing my visor down I pointed out it was not necessary for the task I was doing- winding straps up “how wrong could I be?”

I did as asked but not before pointing out the other two “contractors” working right next to me, one was working at height filling a large skip the other was using an angle grinder to cut up metal to put into the skip. Neither were wearing any safety equipment!!!! The response was that they were contractors🥴 A clear disregard for real danger in my opinion. As a delivery driver my opinions probably don’t count though.
