Cortisone London

The change is remarkable. I had been to see Mike for physiotherapy some years ago but whilst training for the great north run i started with a knee injury. I have moved to Newcastle now but the problem wouldn't go away. I called Mike as he'd helped me in the past and saw his website offering cortisone by coincidence. Beware of using other cortisone "specialists" who charge much less. This is the only clinic who employ specialist pain consultants and offer ultrasound guided injections. I wouldn't let anyone else treat me.

3 days before the London Marathon I was in agony with a serious inflammation of the hip flexor area (Iliopsoas Bursitis). I could barely walk. I can't describe the feeling of dejection and frustration I felt after so many months of training. I went to see Mike Squirrell and Joel Key with little hope. They made it happen for me thanks to their sound advice, expert treatment and a cortisone injection aka "the magic gun". Thanks to Mike and Joel I was able to run the marathon in 3:41h, bang in line with the time range I had in mind. Amazing!

I had an appointment today with Mike and Florence for treatment on my shoulder. Both were excellent and extremely knowledgeable. Put me totally at ease and the whole procedure was pretty much painless. 5 hrs later and I feel great. Hugely reduced pain in my shoulder. Thanks Mike and Florence. I would recommend you to anyone 👍🏻

Poor after care from an overly expensive clinic. The injection did not work and despite phone calls and emails, they have only decided to do something after I left this review and sent an emailed complaint. I contacted them by phone to ask for advice as I was still in a lot of pain and had to wait two days until I received an email saying that I could come back in but they have ignored my reply asking to arrange this. The advertised price was reduced in "a special deal" to £340, which shows how inflated their prices are and they promised excellent sounding aftercare, saying i could go back if it hadn't worked but this was just a total lie to get my business. There are much cheaper alternative clinics in London offering the same service and I suggest you try one of them

I tried a different clinic who were much cheaper 2 months prior before coming to this clinic. Their service was far rougher and felt rushed in comparison. I loved the follow up calls to see how I was doing and the clinic itself is very nice and the staff were really pleasant.

I wouldn't use any other clinic in London. Their knowledge and experience is far beyond the other 2 clinics i have used in the past. They are a little more expensive but it's worth it for the knowledge and experienced team you get. I wouldn't be able to run in this years london marathon without them.

Mike is very professional and spent a long time discussing the issues I was having. After the first ultrasound cortisone injection 2 days later the pain had reduced massively. 2 weeks later i have no more problems.

Dr Mike was super experienced, efficient and most importantly knowledgeable - would highly recommend !
