I've been a loyal customer of Doves for 25 years as a full-time professional painter and decorator. Since Dulux brought Mike out quality has gone down. I was waiting for a paint delivery to complete my job, Dulux decided to call the driver to another branch for a three hour disaplinery meeting, which meant I couldn't carry out my business! The staff member who was having the disaplinery meeting has been serving me for ten years and has always been a professional company man, why Dulux treat their staff like children is none of my business but doing it instead of delivering paint I had paid and was waiting for is unforgivable.

I've given them another chance and asked for a delivery to be told "We haven't got a van today", whether that's true or if it's because the driver walked after his three hour disaplinery I do not know, what I do know is they let me down again. I worked out twenty years ago I could save £1,200 a year by using Brewers instead of Doves but stayed as Mike brought paint out to me himself once when I was unable to leave site and I remember good service. I also remember bad service. Doves isn't the cheapest place to buy paints, the delivery service is now unreliable. I didn't mind paying more than I can buy elsewhere as the service was good but that's no longer the case.

I have always had consistently excellent service and advice from here. Excellent place for picking up decent paint which will go on well and stay looking excellent for ages.
