Dulux Decorator Centre

I had an issue with paint previously bought from Dulux Centre Cwmbwrla. The problem was possibly caused by a lack of ventilation in my bathroom, but the guy in the shop (Richard I think), who I think is the store manager, asked me some questions and explained what he thought the problem was. He understood that I had spent a lot of money in previous purchases and he obviously was disappointed for me. He then asked me how much of the new paint I wanted and what colour. I asked for 5 litres and when it came to paying he said that it was free. He genuinely wanted me to get the result that I had initially paid for, but didn't get. This could well have been my own fault, but he acted in a very professional manner. That manner and attitude has made me write this review and will make me return and I will carry on recommending this store to everyone.

If only I could post No stars. My wife called this morning for masonary paint. "Served" by unhelpful and sarcastic person , David. We will not be returning and instead we spent £200 at Crown and the chappie there could not have been more helpful. Is this how female customers are routinely treated? Distinctly not impressed.

The guy on counter was friendly enough, but when I asked him for advice he was very reluctant to help and his reply was "it's up to you" to the 3 questions that I asked.

This suggests that either he didn't care or that he wasn't very knowledgeable about the products. Either way, not the professional service that you expect from a Dulux Decorator Centre.

Friendly and helpful staff, good stock levels and plenty of help if needed. Recommended.

Whilst they do have a good range if products the pricing here is crazy. You can definitely buy the same products elsewhere for less, even somewhere as extortionate as B&Q

Don’t bother.

We went. They had no paint to mix the colours. What paint shop as no paint to mix colours ?? Made us laugh. And they did not seem that bothered. If it was my place I’d be worried.

Go to the one 2 mins up the road. Cheaper. And plenty of advice and tips. You will not be disappointed.

Great and supportive staff. Came here for a second time today. They helped me with finding a paint that matched my wall despite covid restrictions. Would highly recommend this store!
