Many thanks to Russ at EPDS for a fantastic job he did restoring a lamppost for one of our clients. We had a very tight deadline to complete the work in and Russ responded extremely quickly to our enquiry and he managed to fit in our work at very short notice. We were impressed with EPDS right from the start when we asked a number of companies to quote; they were the clearest about what was necessary and what they would do. We had our lounge walls and woodwork repainted, and for our hall/stairs/landing we had the wallpaper stripped off and the walls and woodwork painted. For (our) logistical reasons there was a lot of coming and going but EPDS fitted in perfectly with our timing and needs. Masking-up and preparation was thorough and any mess was always cleared up before they left. Russell and his father did an excellent job and we would have NO hesitation in recommending them.

The Essex Painting and Decorating guys did a fantastic job of repainting the inside of our house, previously we had a wallpaper up in some rooms and dark paint on some of the walls and we thought it would be hard job to get right. They got it done perfect, in time and on budget. Would recommend to all and have had them back to do more work since. Great Company

I had a vision and Essex Painting and Decorating listened to everything I had to say. From just an idea, they completed it exactly how I imagined if not better than I’d originally imagined. From the start their quotation was very reasonable and they were very informative telling me everything I needed to know. I knew exactly what was going to happen. I was visited promptly to provide a quote and am pleased to say that quote remained accurate! No hidden surprises at all! On the day the team were due to arrived they actually turned up early and respectfully waited outside. Upon getting to work they were extremely professional and made sure the areas not being painted were protected with dust sheets. As for the finish, I was extremely impressed, they spent a lot of time prepping what were quite poor walls and the finished job has been absolutely fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend this firm to anyone!

He was very knowledgeable and gave recommendations where required. His team were very experienced and they worked so hard throughout the project.
