A fantastic way to spend your weekend. Jo is clearly a person who loves what she does for a living and that passion for her specialist skill and energetic personality is contagious. The 2 day Venetian Polished Plaster course was a fun and detailed education and her approach to teaching meant I left her studio with a comprehensive understanding on how to correctly apply the product. I'm now enthusiastic to explore opportunities in which I can combine her years of knowledge and passed on best practice techniques to create beautiful finishes for clients in the year ahead.

I attended the two day gilding course at Jo's studio and probably learned about a month's worth of invaluable information, techniques, hints and tips. The studio is a marvellous place to work with a very small group of just four people and Jo imparts the most amazing amount of information with practical examples all the way through. I was surprised at the amount of work we produced in the time and a thoroughly enjoyable two days was had by all. Value for money? I'd say!!! Thank you Jo for an amazing two days and I will be attending further workshops in future.

Wow. Where to start. Had the opportunity to attend the Paintschool Mural Course last week and it was worth every penny and more. Relaxed studio to work in, fully equipped, didn't want to leave at the end of each day. Jo made attending her studio stress free. Very helpful with parking during a train strike.
Jo had secured a world renowned muralist, Ross Lewis, to lead the class. To watch a master paint at close quarters and share his knowledge was very special. Thank you Jo and Ross. It truly was a chance of a lifetime to attend.
I began with very little experience and no confidence and achieved producing a mural. Showing friends and family, they were impressed!

I attended a course on paint effects with Jo and it was a great experience. Jo is very knowledgeable, professional and personable and it was great learning about mixing glazes as well as doing the paint effects. It was a very inspiring two days and I would highly recommend. There is a lot of information to absorb, so doing the course over two days is effective as you have time to absorb and put to practice what you've learned over the two days. I will be attending other courses with Jo in the future as she covers a variety of finishes and skills of decorating.

I attended the 2 day marbling course and it was a great experience, lots of information about techniques, materials and tools that are key to this “art” The classroom environment was very helpful for learning and was also a fun atmosphere, Jo is a great teacher and willing to share her vast knowledge, highly recommended

I went to Jo’s Gilding 2 day course last week and it was honestly one of the best intensive courses I’ve ever done. She’s an inspirational women and so down to earth too. You’ll feel relaxed as soon as you enter her studio. I look up to her as she’s made her own mark on a predominantly male based industry in the uk…hopefully that evens out more soon 🤞 I’ve definitely struggled with being accepted in to the building trade so to see how well recognised she is for her skill gives me the umph to peruse my goals in life so thanks Jo! 🙏

If you want to learn a whole new skill then Jo's courses are both creative and fun. I learned how to produce various types of wood grained paint effect, with surprisingly realistic results. Jo is a complete professional and her work is astounding. Small class sizes make for a relaxed and very interesting experience. Thoroughly recommended.

Highly recommend the 2 day marbling course! Jo is warm, wonderful and creates an environment where you feel comfortable to experiment and explore new skills - not to mention she's extremely talented! I learnt a multitude of techniques and am sure I will return to do more of Jo's classes! Thanks again Jo!
