Carlo Spiller Decorating

I can't speak highly enough of Carlo Spiller decorating, his work is first class and there was absolutely no mess either. Carlo is a perfectionist and the standard of work clearly reflects this. We love the room and the wardrobes he lovingly hand painted look like new and to think I was going to take them out. My pine headboard is now a beautiful white one that has also been hand painted although I defy anyone to find a brush mark. Excellent job thank you so much.

Did not turn up to give a quote when he said he would. Turned up 3 days later and did not bother to send a quote as promised despite a reminder text. Unprofessional. Found another painter and decorater who responded on the day I called and got the job.

I contracted Carlo to paint 3 period windows, 2 were sash and one was a giant beast comprised of 4 window stays. This last window especially had suffered for many years from water damage and extensive rot was found at the base - to the extent that a new (very expensive) replacement window was considered. However the superior quality of Carlo's resins, sealants and paints, and above all his fastidious expert preparation and time-consuming attention to detail resulted in all 3 windows not only looking new, but being effectively repaired, strengthened, and future water-protected. Things to note: 1. The windows were all on the first floor, yet no scaffolding was required. 2. Carlo's van is very well-supplied so there is no time spent away at suppliers instead of on the job. 3. Carlo's dust-extractor, dust sheets and meticulous cleanliness standards mean no mess. And that extends to looking after any neighbour's interests as well. Our properties were left spotless. 4. Carlo is trained in window restoration and this becomes obvious immediately...but his experience extends way beyond in terms of painting and decorating, and he is happy to impart all sorts of helpful advice. I am tremendously grateful to Carlo and feel lucky to have hired someone with his level of skill. You will not be disappointed, but be patient; he is quite rightly in demand.

Carlo decorated every room in our home and went above and beyond our expectations. He is very knowledgeable and professional and nothing is too much to ask. He put an incredible amount of effort into achieving exactly what we imagined our home to be and helped us every step of the way with advice as and when we wanted it.

If you want to be confident that the job will be done properly, do not look further than Carlo.

We used Carlo having had great reviews about his work and he did not dissapoint. We'd moved into our new home that needed a real uplift - woodwork - transforming childrens bedrooms with very strong colours to neutral - filing and tidying up the mess our tiler left in the bathrooms - refurbishing doors and woodwork - helping us transform a space into a hidden utility room - essentially, making our house a home.

We were very quickly comfortable giving Carlo a key and access to our home and trusted him to come and go as he pleased. He was exceptionally tidy and gave us advice and recommendations for other service providers which we were also really impressed with. He's exceptionally knowledge and resourceful, for which we were incredibly grateful. Thank you Carlo, thank you for you advice, patience and guidance! Hugely appreciated and very highly recommended.

Carlo is a genuine master of his craft. His advice, attention detail and the finish of his work is second to none.

You'll also not find a nicer person to have do work on your property.
