Asked for a white banister, got a cream one. Struggled to choose a grey paint after using many testers and sending pictures and questions over text message, got no response. Only recommended a colour until I had to pay for the work to be done all over again. After discussing this with the owner he said he does offer a designer service at extra cost. Paying for this service for him to recommend one colour I believe is out of order and opportunistic. Once painting was complete I found paint all over white architraves. Clearly rushed the job. Business owner said he could sort some flooring I wanted doing, not only was the flooring fitted poorly in many areas, one section is badly damaged, quite a few of the joints are poor and the flooring was very good quality and expensive. Parts required to complete the job like door trims, sealant etc weren’t brought to site and hasn’t been done. Was given a price of between £800-£1000 for 4/5 days work. Day rate of £200. Was charged £900 for 3 days, charging £100 over the day rate to not get the job completed, damage in areas and never discussed this increase of price before I questioned it after I saw many parts of the work completed were really poor. More over, when going over damaged wall he said ‘that just happens’ and I would have to pay for these to be sorted. These jobs would have been sorted when I next got them round for other work which would have again been paid for resulting in the flooring actually costing even more. When the company owner came round to look at incomplete flooring I spoke to him about 10/15 jobs that needed doing (some very simple, some not so). Didn’t write one thing down so had to make a list myself. In the end decided I didn’t want to use this companies services anymore. After discussing the issues I had with the owner and to save an argument I compromised with him. I never got a reply. Before using this company beware of jobs not being fully complete, no reply from messages, more jobs being required after they’ve ‘completed’ other work. I could go on. Company owner is a good guy but doesn’t offer such a good service.
