Gloss Finish UK

Got sub-contracted out to Gloss Finish UK (GF) when contacting Heron Building Services for a quote. Was told GF have worked with them for years, but we couldn't find any reviews or photos online. That should have been a red flag!
GF were asked to re-skim walls, level the floor and fit skirting boards in our living room. Firstly, their punctuality was appalling (one day saying 9am and only saying they weren't coming at all when contacted at 10am...). While the plastering appeared smooth and well done, upon refitting sockets was noted to be curved. They also decided to replace one of the plastic strips on the window sill with a smaller strip which didn't fit or match with the other window.
Regarding the skirting board, GF definitely have a "that'll do" approach. No boards were flush with one another and the joins weren't mitred - GF just filled the gap with sealant of some sort.

Very unimpressed. Avoid at all costs.

I have just done my son's room painted with Martin.His price is reasonable and flexible to do more other jobs too.
