Wonderful food and great prices - if you want to taste true authentic Pakistani food this is your go to place! The staff are so friendly and nice and the food is amazing. The lamb Nihari, biryani and Payee are the best I’ve ever tasted! I always book in family orders and events through Zaika, never had any complaints only praise. Thank you as always!

The food appears tasty if you are present in that auspicious moment when it is freshly cooked.otherwise covered with additional chillies and lines. You might turn up having a week-old forcefully-tasty food and end up having a bloated stomach to severe food poison!! Be careful.

Their tricks :

1. Ask them to make each and every food hot, they will be reluctant to do so reason might be exposing rotten smell and/or saving time and electricity.

2.Suspiciously no card machines whereas the prices are not at all cheap!

The food was made fresh and tasted good but the prices they charged for the meal did not match the menu nor the posters outside which drew us in. If there is a “new menu” you should tell your customers about it before they order and finish their food.

Zaika Croydon is a hidden gem! If you want authentic tasting Pakistani/Indian food this is the place to go! They’ve been around for years and it’s the only place I ever order from. The catering service is brilliant. I always order for Eid and parties. Nihari, Payee, Haleem and kebabs in particular are delicious!! The food is always fresh the prices are affordable and the quality is top notch! Very generous portions they always give extra. Thank you so much guys!!

Great chicken and lamb on the bone curries in a fairly hot sauce with ginger and coriander. Lovely naan cooked fresh to order in the tandoor. Excellent value.

This is hands down the best tasting curry/Pakistani food around. This is the closest thing to my mums cooking! Real traditional Pakistani flavour. It’s a small, understated shop but honestly the absolute best flavour! The do catering too, I used them for my mums birthday, everyone loved the food, it was a bit oily but I simply drained off the excess oil. The price for the catering was great too. I say if you want to taste what traditional Pakistani food/curries are like, eat here!

Lamb on the bone curry I took away seemed to be kept a while and smelled odd. To hide the smell, loads of chilli and hot spices were added I guess... cannot eat as it’s just chilli I was tasting. Almost all were binned. Spinach was just tinned spinach in oil. No taste at all. Nann bread was good. The reason for one star is I’m having very bad tummy ache after their food. Spoiled food should be thrown away instead of selling to customers. No more food from them anymore.
