Buses don't always run on time. This is very frustrating. Drivers are very friendly. I would rather not have to rely it but have no choice. So each day just expect the buses to be late. I'm pretty sure there is not 4 an hour and 8 at peak times.

Not bad, except I can't park at work! Often have to wait quite a while in the afternoon/evening

I am a qualified driver and I was taking my older sister to Portsmouth Driving Test Centre in order to operate the test route navigation app which can only work when located at the test centre. My sister’s practical test is on Thursday and as we are both unfamiliar with the Portsmouth area, we thought it would be a good idea to briefly park in the NHS park and ride in order to set up the navigation app before setting off on a test route as there was no other public car park nearby. We begun this practice around 13:30 and completed 2 test routes. When we returned to the NHS park and ride, again to briefly stop to start a new test route a Fort Southwick Security employee approached the car to inform us that he had made a report to the police for “suspicious behaviour” as we had entered and left the car park a few times and that the police were en route.

The employee demanded us to exit my vehicle to walk into the entrance of the car park in order for our faces to be captured on CCTV and to show signs for the private car park and that no learners should enter the car park . The employee in question assumed that I was a learner driving with no L plates when this was not the case as my sister (passenger) is the learner. My sister explained that she was the learner and had a practical test on Thursday as we are unfamiliar with the Portsmouth area, the employee continued to interrogate my sister and ask what date and time was her practical test and that he would be reporting it to the DVSA which has now given my sister anxiety around whether she would be able to drive my car for her practical test.

As a young woman I felt very threatened by his attitude as he was very insistent that the police had been called and to exit the vehicle which I now know he has no authority to do but as a scared young woman I did as I was told. When I was able to return to my vehicle I needed time to process my emotions so I proceeded to stay for a further 5/10minutes when he came towards my window again to carry on with his threats of the police ect. and that I needed to leave, which I did immediately after though I still felt upset and was not mentally ready to set off again.
If this situation was handled differently then this could’ve been avoided and maybe the police wouldn’t have had their time wasted🙂
