Corporation Park, Blackburn

Best park in Blackburn I love taking my grandkids there always feel safe as no cars can access the park so kids are safe to run round there is parking at side of the park if you are driving .
There is plenty to see nature wise big lake lots of different ducks to feed and railings all round so safety big thing also park for the kids and also birds and small animals all different kinds it really is a great place to go for. Both adults and children

A great day out and clean area free from rubbish etc. The park has one duck pond and one big lake. The big lake was used in WW2 for bomb disposal and in the 1980 the lake was drained so the army could clear the lake bottom of any live explosives. Many were found and controlled explosions was the only way to rid the lake of live bombs. It's a safe place to go with great wildlife and great views. A must if you want to escape from it all.

Council needs to maintain, it is beautiful park, lovely location but hardly maintained. We went for tennis but I think nobody went in the court because of the condition and it was locked so its just a walk park. Nothing else is in good condition.

An awesome park to have a walk & for taking kids to ride bikes. Lovely place to have family picnics. Beautiful plants flowers & trees to see & childrens playground too. Really nice for taking long or short walks with friends or family & it gives you a chance to be out in the fresh air

Nice place to walk around, whilst having an hour or so to spare on a trip into Blackburn. There is parking along East and West park road. We chose East, then walked down to enter the park next to the main entrance. Going in that way meant a bit of an uphill walk at first, which I'm not very good at, but once higher up there is plenty of flat parkland to explore. Grass areas, picnic places, woodland areas, playgrounds, bowling greens, tennis courts, & a lake with lots of ducks & other birds.
I didn't see any facilities, food or toilets.

Beautiful park, miles of walks, climbs, cycling and an aviary. A huge lake, lots of play areas and keep fit equipment. An ice cream van.
We packed picnics in our back packs and walked miles around this beautifully designed huge green park.

Great park went for Eid in the park event 2021 and it was a great experience for the family. Nice open park where kids can ride bikes and couple of ponds where you can find wild life.
