It's a nice place to take the dog for a walk. It's fairly quiet most of the time with plenty of wildlife knocking about, including deer and foxes. It's worth mentioning that it can get very sludgy and muddy after rain, and generally takes a few days to dry out. Relatively clean, the usual sort of rubbish lurking in the shrubbery in a few areas. I wouldn't recommend going here if you're unsteady on your feet, pretty rough paths. Great view of the turf and the rest of burnley from here.

Nice play area for kids with football pitch and hard paths. surrounded by woodland walks on the heights. Mostly used by locals but nice just to stop off at, loads of street and off road parking at the bottom, but it's a bumpy road!

I love living in Healeywood, it's got a wood which is home to various animals and birds. Children can be children where they can build dens, climb trees and have a good time on bikes. Everyone knows every one and only 1 road in 1 road out, great little shop who is a godsend when you run out milk. The little village in the town Healeywood.
