This small park is in memory of the men of W.H. Trickett's slipper factory who gave their life in the "Great War" payed for by weekly donation, the factory is long gone but the park still remains, "we shall remember them"

Lovely little grounds for a picnic and a rest. Surrounded by trees and nature, concealed and in the shade. A great relief on a hot sunny day

We use this to cut through, as then I'm not taking my grandchildren near the busy junction. And she loves looking at the flowers 🌹 and to smell them. As she knows to be careful with them and just to look at them and smell the perfume.

Trickett’s is an oasis of calm, peace and tranquility in Waterfoot. Over the last few years a small but dedicated team of volunteers have transformed what was once a wilderness into a garden that the community can be proud of. A great deal of work has taken place and the results are outstanding. Work still continues to make the Memorial Grounds a fitting tribute to the 44 names who are commerated on the gate post at the entrance.
