This is a wonderful place to visit. There's plenty of parking. A big space to walk dogs and give them a good run. You can walk up the hill into the woods too. The babbling stream is clean and super for paddling - accessed via little inlets. People meet up to chat, have picnics etc. There's a tennis club with 4, or so courts. The children's play area is secure with a variety of play equipment. Football and cricket events take place, together with outdoor yoga and keep fit meetings. The surroundings are very pretty and the innovative wild planting has attracted the bees.

Walked here with coops and echo a week ago...excellent area very quiet lots of other dogs. You can actually walk up the hill and have a lovely view of the surrounding area and if you keep walking can end up at the chequers pub for a quick drink

Lovely place to walk dogs, but there should be signs on the gates, telling people to close them correctly and put the band over the gate, to stop it opening. Plus the dog warden needs to be there more, as some people are not picking up their dogs poo!

Brilliant for Dog walking or walks out with friends and family. Cricket area, used every Sunday. A medium sized playground with a basketball hoop! And a river on the edge of the park for those little dogs that love to swim! :)
