River Darent, Westminster Fields

The shallow sections are perfect for wading through and dipping for small fish. Lovely walk along the bank too.

Great walk, very green. Some of the walk is along the little river, fields, forests and also a little town. Also a great place to take your dog for a walk. Can be very muddy after some rain. Saw some horses and Emu's while walking the trail.

The Darent valley river walk is great with some fantastic views and well worth doing. Great bars and cafes along the way and just on your doorstep. Take in the natural world and give it a go.

A lovely little beauty spot. Popped down for an hour at 4.30 to cool my feet down in the river and have a gentle stroll. Still a few families enjoying the space which was lovely to see. Very clean bar one spot where a group had decided not to clean up after themselves 😠
A few bins would help.

I never tire walking along the river path at different times of the year.
