Lovely area of mixed woodland with a small carpark. Popular with dog walkers and butterfly enthusiasts as this is one site where purple emperors can be found in Kent.

A beautiful woodland to explore with marked paths. The car park is relatively small but in good condition.

I started the Shipbourne Circular walk from here and the woods had some lovely trails to explore. Parking is free and it's a great area to walk your dogs and let them have a good run around

Lots of nice interconnected paths through the woods, ranging from small single track to the big fire road all around the perimeter.

Lots of spots for den building - logs lying around for easy den construction - so great for kids.

Beautiful natural space to get away from the hustle and bustle of life that the children and dogs love.

No cars, no phone reception, it's perfect.

Take your wellies if there is or has been any kind of rain. Very tranquil woodland walks. On Sundays, you can hear the church bells in the distance. The tree canopy helps with shade for hot summer walks. And there is a free car park, WITH BINS, so if you do visit please use them if necessary.

Very large woodland park, my partner took me for a new years walk. Unfortunately she didn't tell me how muddy it would be However lots of trails all over so you can avoid most of the mud.

We found quite a few hidden paths that were off the beaten track. Incredibly peaceful and we sat and had a small picnic.

Great for dog walkers and people with children to explore!
