It's a nice playground for the kids. There are things for different age group. And alot of people walk there dog at the nearby field. The kids play area is gated though.

We visited here on a wintery day. This is a secluded rec I had not known existed, tucked away behind Watford Town Centre. The area was clean and pleasant but really quite noisy as a result of the main road on one side and the train line above.

I imagine this would be a good place to walk dogs or play sports as the lawn is large. There is some outdoor gym equipment and a children's playground which appeared to include a slide and climbing frame amongst other things, and some picnic benches nearby, which would probably be very welcome on a summer's day out with the family. Unfortunately there did not seem to be any toilet facilities which I think is a shame as it may limit the time families can spend here.

This park includes some unusual statues, including one of a diver marking the site of a former fresh water lido. The river runs along one side and we enjoyed watching squirrels gathering material for a drey. I imagine there is more to see in the way of wildlife at other times of year but it was quite nippy today!

All in all this is a nice surprise of a green space, but I would probably feel cautious about being here at nightfall due to its secluded nature.

This is a great place with a variety of scenarios. There is a lovely recreational ground, an open space grass and much more. You never get tired on a sunny day. It's a lovely place to go on a Sunday with the family.

Great place. Perfect for family time such as picnics, walks or just a trip to the playground. Spot for runners and cyclists. Just across the railway viaduct you'll find outdoor gym, football field and basketball courts.

It's an okay little park, has a playground and a small grassy area next to it, also has a very shallow river running down the side of it, normally I'd like such a thing but, this part of the river is overgrown with nestles etc and stinks badly, council needs to clean it.
