Farlington Playing Field

Great weekend camping for a festival we were attending. Great facilities only down side could do with more food stalls to eat 😁

Really good place for walking your dog, playing games with children (no park facility so you have to take your own games), good area for picnic. Well maintained grounds, safe and pretty. Easy to get to
Parking costs extremely reasonable, 50p per hour - charged from 10 until 4 pm.

Been playing football here for years, great green space, with not many left in the area.

Occasionally gets a bit flooded during rainy seasons, no surprise though considering it's know as 'Farlington Marshes'

Also boasts one of the very few clubhouses that hasn't been a victim or arson in recent years.

Great place to let the dogs run around.
Evenings and weekends it's free to park, weekdays you have to pay and display. There are no toilets at all though.

Super large aria and very nice for walk plus you can pick your own black current

Whilst walking around field, I noticed what poor condition the football pitches were in. Not good as we should be encouraging our local sports people with the best conditions for their sport.

Great for being able to let digs have good run as there's no hidden corners and never met a horrid dog and or owner...
Also there's a fantastic little piece of marshland at the very back of the field 😀
