Mayflower Park

Before I came to Southampton I rly thought it had beautiful beaches and waves but it turned out to be a port city rather than a seaside city. There's an ice cream truck in the park owned by a very friendly old man. I mean it doesn’t taste like wow but still worth trying.

It is not a swimming spot or a beach but you can enjoy an ice cream from Dave or watch cruise ships. Small park allow to make a picnic. You can play a basketball here too.

Great place, went on Sunday for the Southampton Boat Show, nice experience with shopping center and good selection of restaurants around.

Cheap parking and great views, 5 minutes walk from Town Quay which has views of Red Jet and Funnel etc

A popular place for a leisurely stroll and watching the large ships pass through.
A café and an ice cream van, plenty of open grassland and parking to while away the time. Can get busy with ferry traffic and the annual Boat Show.

Nice place to spend evening!! View of Port is awesome and you can see cruise departures with beautiful background.

Beautiful park next to the old royal pavilion and red funnel ferry dock. Great views of the historic royal dock and pavilion as well as southampton water. Next to cruise ship dock so can often find people waving goodbye to cruise ships as they leave for their adventures. Play park and basketball park available with small shop selling hot and cold good. Very close to city centre, parking charges however do apply. Great for photography!!
