Good place to go for a walk in the woods. Lots of parking spaces. It is pay and display but apparently not checked very often. £1.90 for two hours though isn't too unreasonable.

There is a hot drinks and snacks cabin although due to the poor Internet connectivity, it is cash only.

Lots of space to play and walk with some interesting paths signposted.

There are toilets here too.

Lovely walk, carpark was £1.80 for two hours, had plenty of parking. There are lots of different trails to take so lots to explore, fantastic place to take your dogs, kids or if you just want a nice walk.

I love walking here, although the pay to park system needs looking at. The card machine works via solar panel and internet and due to the location it doesn't work well at all, the Ringgo app failed for me and others trying to pay due to the internet signal being poor in the forest. Tried to call with location pin and that didn't work either. Take plenty of change, the coin machine was rejecting change when trying to pay that way.
Saying that the refreshment van is amazing and the toilets are relatively clean and all work. The trails are great lots of wildlife, butterflies, bees, beautiful bluebells this time of year. Park area is great for all ages, some great tree climbing opportunities for older kids and den building areas.

Great place to let the kids run around, or have a little play in the play areas. Lots of places to build dens, to have a picnic. Paths well signposted so easy to follow while wondering. Toilets are near the car park and they are kept clean, and a little Caffè also near the car park, has a great selection of snacks and drinks to keep everyone happy. Definitely a great place to enjoy the day and enjoy the nature

Love going for a walk with my dog here. Lots of different routes to take, so peaceful and pretty too in whatever season you go. I also love the food van that's there; I'll usually grab a coffee from there to walk through the forest with. 😊

The walk is ok, but also very busy and popular (maybe I was at a peak time). There was quite a lot of dog walkers and quite a few roaming dogs off the lead. There is a small play area for kids, but it is very sparse. I did not explore all of the walks so can't comment on them all. The walk was quite muddy, so boots or wellies are a good idea.

A lovely woods with plenty of gravel paths, so good for walking and pushchairs etc however wet it is. A great place for kids to explore, make dens and burn off some energy. An enclosed play area as well. Make sure you take some change, the car park card payment machine isn't always working
