Named so after a 1870s cannon that was standing on this green until 1940, when it was requisitioned for the war effort. (must admit, a good track record for 70 year old weapon) Local community is still trying to get it back on the green (or at least some replica) Green is very small, and used for occasional local events.

Too small for a park and the benches need renewing. You'll be sitting next to traffic but it's still pleasant in terms of view.

Its a very small patch of green in-between housing and a road. Its not brilliant but its nice to see with how built up the station and tension road is
