A fantastic quiet place to chill and watch the wild life even on a cold Sunday afternoon. Sat and watched a red kite for hours hunting the field whilst a pair of buzzards circled above.

Had a chat to the guys that run it and it looks like a beautiful place to visit. They have an on-site bbq that’s you can use, a fire pit and loads of wildlife. I was there for 10 minutes and saw a fox and a deer! Great place to visit - and it’s all free (except if you want to camp)

A wonderful area run by volunteers to help the community. We had a staff training session there and received a very warm and helpful welcome by the staff. Hope to use the venue for activities in the summer such as team building.

Lovely place. When looking to meet with a friend for picnic we found this place online. Says it's open 24 hours but when we got there the car park is closed ☹️

Popped in today... such a shame... the place looks like its gone to rot.... some grass cut some not but can understand the nature part of that... benches could do with a good clean and varnish... it all just looks messy, such a shame aboout the tree that was cut out of 2 horses, really hard to tell what it is now...I'm surprised the travellers haven't moved in yet!!!!

Was a lovely place just a shame its been left to run down... Great for running my dogs in tho, with no interference from other people

The pictures look nice but they must be from way back. It's overgrown, looks abandoned and nothing here anymore except wasteland. Avoid.

A hidden gem tucked away at the end of Mayles lane. There is a good sized carpark. Large nature reserve with pond. Plenty of benches for having a picnic. Really nice carvings to see too. You can hire the area for a private function for donations to the charity that does the upkeep . They provide use of toilets too.
