Huge play area with loads to do for kids of most ages, though probably the best for 4+. There's a smaller fenced in area for preschoolers and toddlers, but very young children can't use most of it. My 6 and 8 year old girls loved it, though, especially the trampoline. The green areas surrounding the park are lovely, too. Very spacious.

The only negative is there's no public loos anywhere nearby. Not great when you've got young children desperate for the loo!

This is a ok park. This park has been somewhat refreshed over the past couple of years, but its function as a play park has about halved. The older kids side is pretty poor now. Most of the wooden structures have been removed and replaced by stumps of wood for some reason, and the ground trampoline has been fenced off for repair but not been repaired for over a year.

They have however they have added a flat bottom rope swing which is nice.

The younger childrens side (under 14 I believe) has had lots of work and is actually pretty decent. There are 2 slides, 6 swing (2 for babies and toddlers) and some climbing frames.

The surrounding open field and trees are lovely for a casual walk.

I take my boy their a few times a month and he likes it plenty.

Seems lovely park with wide paths. Nice place to have picnic while kids play at play area. Nice trees around and plenty of shades if needed.

Average park with average park facilities - nothing special but pleasant for a nice stroll

Nice shady park in the day. Bit rough around the edges. Often broken glass on the paths, that isn't cleaned up. Not great for dogs. Wouldn't go here at night.

Nice park, kids loved it. Could do with some toilets though.

Nice enough park. Couldn't see us spending a long time there. Was me and my 3 year old not really a lot of things. But nice place when you just need to get out

Nice big open park. Various people chilling with friends, nice relaxed atmosphere. Clear footpaths, good disabled access. Easy to walk into the city centre afterwards .
