They need to hurry up and sort these fields out before winter. Horrible pit s of muddy oily water left accessible to dogs puts me off taking my dog there. Luckily the big tree they brutally pruned had come back to life. The whole place has been spoiled again this summer with so called improvements and now there's a big drop onto the lower field absolute shambles.

Large open space, well looked after but still has a certain wild feel to it. Ideal for dog walking as there are bushes and paths explore on the periphery as well as a small stream.
Football pitches are clearly marked out if a little uneven. There's a tidy BMX track in one corner too that's not too rough for novices.
The entire park is fairly exposed so wrap up warmly if there's even a hint of a cold breeze.
Parking is a little limited sometimes but there's usually a space in the adjoining roads.
The onsite trailer café is well stocked with coffee served as it should be; at drinking temperature, not scalding hot. The moist, gluten-free lemon cake must be tried.

Great park, a dozen or so parking spots on sight and plenty of on road parking nearby. A wonderful BMX track, three football pitches, a pop up coffee shop and kids play area. Great park for kids, parents, dog walkers etc
