Beautiful scenic walk around a peaceful forest lake. Full of wildlife and wildfowl, take a camera you won't be disappointed.

I've lived in the area for 17 years and visited Woorgreen for the first time today. Usually it's a bit too muddy for unstable me, but today nice and dry all round the lake. Really lovely place for a slow walk. I enjoyed it immensely.
I am a member of the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, and it was good to see the way subscribers money is spent.

Shame about the new footpath because we couldn't get our sons buggy over the big stone's.
I'm sure once a few people have been walking through there it'll flatten.
Really lovely place.

Great place to walk with the dogs a little muddy when wet but that's the fun of getting out and about

Great place, good habitat. Saw Great Gray Shrike, lovely bird sitting on top of little tree, brilliant. Was a triffle muddy , wellies are the thing to wear.!!

A little disappointed in this, reading on the Internet about woorgreens , it sounded like a must visit place just for the lake and the wildlife, boy was i in for a shock, walked around the lake in about 10 minutes and got back to where I started and it didn't feel like I had been anywhere, as for the wildlife, you may be lucky to find a duck, but that is about it, however there is a very good trial to walk around.

Fantastic place to walk. Feels like you’ve left Gloucestershire scenery-wise. I really enjoyed adventuring here!

I didn’t walk the Nature Reserve proper completely, as I got turned around and came upon it before the lake. However, having walked a portion of it, I intend to go back to walk it in full.

Speaking of getting turned around … I have since seen a location for “Woorgreens parking,” which I shall try on my next visit. I got rather lost (despite having a map purchased from Beechenhurst) when parking at Speech House Car Park. I feel this may just be my lack of orienteering skill however, as other groups who parked in the same place as me were present when I finally arrived at the lake 🙄😂
