That's where we walk our dog, its near home, it's a great place to walk him with the woods behind lovely little walk. And the people walking their dogs there are so nice, until now we came across lovely people as quite often we leave our quite hyper 8months border collie off lead and he is a handful but people are understanding. Not only that the park is very clean compare to highland park of course it is smaller and easier to maintain but it seems people clean up their mess in this park which amaze me and happy to see that people are responsible about their pet but such a shame we can see rubbish lying around quite often

Basic playing field supplimented with public tennis courts a secure 3G floodlit pitch Chelmsford City football stadium and a sports centre. The sport centre isn't accessible during covid to use the only on site toilets bar the stadium and 3G changing rooms

Everything in Melbourne Park is fantastic and brilliant and I've been there all my life when I first moved here that day and full of memories also. And also do meet new people and neighbours and also so peaceful as well and enjoy the view and the weather here.

A well kept park with good sporting facilities right next to Chelmsford City football ground and athletics ground.
Decent indoor area for sports and gym.

Really good condition pitches, ample parking and handy facilities for loos etc.

Great day too because the lad scored a hat trick and got MOTM

If I had to be picky (although I don't agree with what I'm saying), there is a lot of grass to walk over when viewing a match on the far side. A path system separating the pitches would keep shoes dry, but hey....no biggie! Coming from a team whose pitch is sloping with a massive dip in the middle, this was like Wembley!!!

Also disappointing that dog owners are unable to perform the necessary duties of a dog owner, but coaches are well used to searching each pitch for dog poo before a match and have a pile of poo bags due to the frequency of it happening.

I only walk through here to get to Morrisons. My children used to play on the equipment but they don't anymore

Nice big park shame so many dog owners let their dog fowl and leave it. Considering kids football is played there every weekend.

Sadly no toilets open unless the sports centre is open, but nice large field.
