Wow such a lovely park right in the heart of Maidstone. It has won awards it's that nice. Plus it's huge. Like 450 acres. Many paths to walk or bike on. Kid friendly with modern play parks. Plus an area for tree top climbing and crazy golf. There's a lovely large lake to feed the ducks and go on a boat in summer. Plenty of beauty spots to see. A big café that's currently being built, nearly finished ready for summer. Loads of room for picnics and family gatherings. Or a great place to walk the dog. Biking around here is great too. Overall amazing place to visit. Great if you live in Maidstone or visit sometime. Also there's a large sports leisure centre with plenty of activities and a great swimming poo tool. Plenty of parking. So Worthy a look...

Lovely place to visit, beautiful views of the lake and wildlife as you are walking around. Perfect for a picnic or a place to take children as there is also a massive park. Pay and display parking but reasonable price for a day out!

I visited when it was foggy to get some cold foggy photos but its even more beautiful in the summer!

Update: have visited multiple times, great place to feed the ducks and soak up a bit of sun! Added a few more photos

Lovely park, stunning views. Great kids play ground and adventure area. Good value for money . £2.00 for 6 hours, worth every penny.

Beautiful, award-winning Mote Park is particularly well-liked by both locals and tourists. It features a variety of amenities that are appropriate for people of all ages and abilities! 450 acres of expansive green space, numerous mature trees, and a lengthy lakeside promenade form a lovely, serene scene that tempts you to go for walks, jogs, rides, and explorations. Mote Park is the ideal place to spend a picnic in the shade throughout the summer months under tree canopies, during the magnificent fall foliage, and along the riverbanks of the lake and river's dazzling silver water. Swan boating on the serene lake is an incredible experience. After exploring and enjoying the lake and river, Historic Waterfall should be your next stop if you're itching for more information.

There are 4 Children's Play Areas offering brilliant active play platforms for traversing, climbing, sliding, and running! This challenges children's upper body strength, grip and grasp, core stability, balance, fine motor skills, and push and pull. The play frames and surrounding open space make it very exciting and encourage an open-ended, free-flowing Play Area - great for children to interact, bond with each other, and practice their social skills.

One of the key attractions of Mote Park is a dedicated accessible play area enjoyed by children & families, in particular, families with accessible needs. Footpath is made of concrete suitable for wheelchairs ♿, mobility scooters, pushchairs! There is a Dementia-Friendly Tree Walk Trail, making this Mote Park much more accessible and inclusive!

Mote Park Main Hub and Café is currently being redeveloped! Once it is completed, parents can have a great time having hot or cold drinks and snacks while children enjoy the magnificent play area.

Adventure Sports, Dino Golf, Skate Park and Outdoor Gym are located right next to the Main Play Area. Other key features of this amazingly popular park include grassland, woodland, rivers and a 30 acre lake, Café, walled garden, a model miniature railway, model boats, accessible toilets, public toilets, sports pitches - football, rugby & cricket, Mote Park Water Sports Centre, Maidstone Leisure Centre - gym, swimming pools, lagoons, angling in the lake, Segway Terrain, Mote Park Outdoor Adventure - Sky Trail, Climbing Wall, Indoor Bowls, Health & Wellbeing for aged 55 & over at the historic Mote House.

Conveniently, there are 3 car parks with dedicated disabled ♿ 🅿 bays - Main Car Park, School Lane Car Park and Burning Ground Car Park. Maidstone Leisure Centre has its own car park!

A massive and beautiful park with plenty to do for all ages. There are also lots of improvements being made to make it even better.

Whether you are are just out for a quiet stroll or want to take a dragon peddlo out on the lake, ride a miniature train, go skateboarding, high climbing, feed the ducks, go swimming or even go to a summer concert it can all be done at Mote Park.

Building works currently being carried out to make a new cafe and toilets block so lots of fencing up. Playground is under construction in some areas. Vicious dogs off leads near the playground equipment. Very busy. Parking payable by card. Dead pigeons floating in the lake. Disappointed as we usually love a trip to this park.

A beautiful park that we are lucky to have on our doorsteps. A huge space for walkers, cyclists, and dog walkers to all enjoy without crossing paths too often, lots of space for kids to play with 2 playgrounds and a sports field, and v. Reasonable kayak/canoe/SUP board/pedalo hire on the lake! Oh and lots of places to fish, if that's your vibe. Looking forward to the new cafe opening too! Lots of community events and activities in the summer months, and lots of wildlife and nature to enjoy including squirrels, woodpeckers, pheasants, herons, and terrapins.

Such a lovely park with far reaching views and plenty to do.
Nice that there are wide paths to walk on in wet weather so do not have to get muddy boots.
The mobile kiosk is clean, friendly and reasonable prices for quality food.
Would be nice to have boot cleaning or hose areas to rinse doggy paws.
