This is a lovely park just a short walk from the City centre of Canterbury it's within the old Roman walls which remain to day and and run along a section of the park and City itself...The gardens are full of things to see the path way is lined with good mature Lime Trees, then there is the South Africa War Monument a memorial to the soldiers that lost their lives in the Boer War,The Simmons Memorial,The Victorian Band stand and the lovely water Feature which was added in 1999 when the gardens had a make over..... All in all its a great place to visit to look around and unwind in this peaceful setting...👍

This is my favourite park in Canterbury, very close to Canterbury East and the Roman Wall. Its beautiful in spring or autumn with all the trees and flower beds.
