Wonderful nature reserve not far off the beaten track. A small wood and fishpond that has been there since medieval times. Ideal for family walks and dog walks. Although the area is flat it gets quite muddy at times and only in very dry weather is it suitable for wheelchairs. So close to nature with an array of different birds to watch and listen out for 😊🐦

A superb park in a nice sizeable plot. Peaceful and enjoyable for dog walking or a pleasant gentle stroll. Close to nature with lots of wildlife to see. Can get a bit muddy in wet weather so take your wellies. The nearest toilet is at Asda a few minutes away.

We walked from the town centre up Nottingham Road, left at Sunny Grove, turning right off Oregon Way signposted Cycle Route 66 to Spondon and Across Acorn Way. The paths through the Reserve had recently been mowed and we took a pleasant walk through the trees and blackberry bushes to the pond where we had our lunch. Plenty of ripe blackberries as of 18th August 🥰 💜
