Nice local park for taking the kids to release their energy. Good amount of green space, clean and tidy and the kids always enjoy the playground which also has a large sand area. There's a Co-op down the road where you can top up your snacks to keep the kids happy 😊

Great playground for kids, now dominated by incomers and their children. A very good atmosphere as it has had for many years. The park is also very nice for walking and football xxx

Great fun had by all. Clean open spaces and good for us all to exercise. Yes, I did say Exercise for we all need it. After all the weight we have piled on in the last 18 months or so. Good for dog walkers and be kind to one another by saying a "hello or good day." Just take yourself for a long walk and you will feel better within yourself. Helps to shake off the blues or dark clouds trying to weigh you down. SHAKE IT OFF!!! You, deserve better but you are to help encourage yourself. Tell yourself good things and good things can only bring good or get better as you grow in confidence and trust me; You will not look back. Do it Now! Before the weather begins to change on us. Hoping for a long Indian Summer which is quite special and we can all enjoy the summer a little bit longer this year. What are you waiting for?

What a lovely park. Situated by the canal it’s nice to see the wildlife, such as swans and other birds along with the odd boat passing through. The play area for children isn’t too bad either, with a good variety of activities which you would expect from a children’s play area in a park. There are also quite a few outdoor fitness stations to keep local people active, which is a great feature and has nice open green spaces too.

My only criticism is where the football goal is situated. Inside the goal area there is a lot of sand, which is a shame. In the rain it’s floods and large puddles rise up and even in dry weather it seems unnecessary to have a large patch of sand in the area where the goal is.

To finish on another positive is the toilets. From my experience of using them a few times, they are kept pretty clean as far as public toilets go. The pathways situated around the perimeter of the park are well mapped out which is great for walkers, commuters and anyone passing through.
