Sussex Gardens Open Space

Nice wee garden roundabout. With fragrant roses, and a wheel shaped box hedge with bedding plants in each segment. Seating set around this.
Small amount of grass.
In close proximity to Lancaster Gate, Kensington Gardens and Bayswater Road. Paddington Station and Hospital are a short walk away.

Came across this garden while walking from Paddington Station to Hyde Park and I'm not sure why this is listed as an attraction. Sussex Gardens Open Space, is at the junction of several roads and has been converted into a green area. It's a triangular shaped garden Square and surrounded on all sides by the aforementioned roads. In the gardens is a central circular plant bed surrounded by pathways, hedges and lawn areas and is relatively well maintained. The whole site is bordered by trees, shrubs and some nice looking hotels.

Nothing to see really.

Pleasant small park, perfect for a picnic. Lovely place to sit for a while.

Dreadful Hotel. Window handle in room was not properly secured. Carpet filthy dirty on staircase. Nothing to recommend it except its location.

I passed by recently and the roses were in full bloom -- very pretty.

Stopped here to eat lunch. Was a very hot day but lovely and shady here. Great place for takeaway lunch and plenty of bench seats. Ideal. 👍
