Very pleasant park! The cafe in the White House is closed, as the house is undergoing renevation. The replacement cafe in the bowling pavilion is also closed, due to a fire!
But the cafe at the bottom of the park, by the canal, is open for takeaway, minimal menu.
Nice lake to walk around (but fenced off, also being renovated (if that's the right word for a lake?). Children's playground, tennis courts & canal at the bottom of the park.

Lovely park on a sunny day. Quiet places to hide and liked the wooden gazebos

I really hate to put three stars but they need to pick the garbage up, and the cafe don't accept dogs, but they have a vary large dog scaupture in the window hmmmmmmm. At least have a side window where people with their dogs can do an order. Please, thank u and such a beautiful park.have a lovely walk everybody.

Springfield Park is a hidden gem of Hackney. Recently renovated with fabulous views of Lea Valley for miles. Hoping for nice Cafe to return to top White House soon. Credit to Hackney Council! No camping allowed!

Cafe has gone downhill. It's now on the bowling green and food quality has dropped considerably. Menu is smaller , Used to love having breakfast on the weekends here , until they reopen the main house I won't be going back to eat.4.50 for a bacon sandwich, no butter ,Two rashers . Taking the p**s .

Lovely sunny day out for the ducks in the pond. And some other wildlife. And I don't mean pigeon. I mean, real wildlife. But you can feed the pigeons too. Loads of places to sit, in the fresh green cut (ish) grass of the lovely period benches. And a playground for kids. Are you kidding me. This park is the best.
