Art in the Park

Went to a pottery taster course run by Name. Got to try out hand building and wheel throwing. Good guidance, friendly host, fun day. There were 12 in the class and we were concentrating so hard it was largely silent throughout! Recommended!

Tam Nam leads very interesting pottery workshops in the Art In The Park studio. It might be a bit cold in the winter, but very enjoyable.

I went to a free wreath making Workshop with my small son, and it was great! Everything was provided to you, so lots of different kinds of foliage and berries and other items to make whatever design you wanted. The people in charge were so friendly and helpful, especially the lady from Galway (sorry I didn't catch your name!).

They did a free pumpkin carving workshop too, and mentioned they were going to be putting on more of these events in the new year, eg around Valentine's day.
