A really fantastic place for young children. The large paddling pool is the perfect place for them to splash and play; deep enough for them to jump about but shallow enough that you don't need to worry about arm bands or other flotation devices. The splash pad adds another dimension to the water play and I'd recommend bring inflatable balls, ride ons etc for the paddling pool. The play park is attached through a small shaded tree area and has everything a good park should have: slides, swings, things to climb and even trampoline beds in the floor!

A very pleasant garden and Park to enjoy. The playground has a variety of equipment suitable for toddlers and older children including swings, slides, trampolines, climbing frame, see saw, rockers, spinners and more.

It was quite busy when we visited on a rather hot day but can imagine it is popular in all weathers with the amount of things to do. Along with this, there is a water paddling area behind the playground too. My daughter really enjoyed this park.

It's a recreation ground adjacent to the play park. A pleasant green space.

Splash pad next to the play park. Within a fenced area, the fountains can be turned on by pressing a button. There's a paddling pool attached to it (roughly 50-60cm deep). Great entertainment on a hot day. Water is chlorinated.

Great place to visit with kids. Big playground and nice splash pad, little pool for children. Definitely recommend for families.

My little one has lots of fun in the splashpad and the pool. Plenty of seating area near the pool for parents.
The park is nice too!

Great place to spend a day with younger children.
Lots of trees for shade around the paddling pool/splash pad. Though little shade around the playground.
The only issue, was finding a parking place! Parking on the street (again in shade), is for 4 hours. The station is a 10 minute walk.

Best to get there early if you want to sit near the paddling pool in shade, or around lunch time, when a lot of people leave.
Take a picnic and lots of drinks. Sun cream required as the sun is eventually over half the pool.
Definitely take something to sit on as its dusty under the trees.
There are toilets but they are not close to the children's area.

The tennis court is old and has a very rough surface. But generally, it is not very crowded. Public bathrooms are not very well maintained but it is generally the situation with many premises in most parks. What is remarkable of Coleridge Recreation Ground is the kids playground, a must see!.
