Barnard Park

Lovely park if you have kids. Lovely park if you like five-a-side football or running in a small circle. Lovely park if you enjoy starring at an open expanse of concrete upon which an occasional bunch of local urchins kick a deflated piece of plastic towards each other as a middle class, bearded paunch monkey, sweats his way around said urchins trying to out sweat out a corony while not appearing paediolific.

Barnard Park Playground is one of the best places for kids in Islington. It is located jut in 10 minutes of walk from Angel but its territory, play equipment and other amenities are completely good to spend here a couple of hours with the little ones.

Park is okay. There is a huge children's private play area right next to this area which makes it a huge bummer for kids because you have to explain to them that they can't play with the other kids there.

Great park for walking the dog , playing with your children and a huge football pitch and adventure playground

My dog loves it! She always has a good time playing with the other dogs. Safe, with closed gates, perfect for my girl who is easily distracted chasing squirrels.

Barnard park is pretty much dead. Yes there is a adventure playground fro small kids, and a tiny little kids park. Boring place to go if you're older than 10.

I went to Barnard park to look for the castle. Couldn't see it, I probably should get my eyes tested... the park was pretty cool, very chill in the daytime on a Sunday with lunch and a squirrel.

Merits:

1. Kids play area - spacious
2. Big Lawns for dog play - allowed officially
3. 3 mi by diameter for old people to walk with many chairs
4. Have a refreshment shop in one entrance and one in kids play area
5. Have a football ground
6. Good place for track activities in football ground.
7. Have shared cycles in another entrance
8. Entry is free free free
9. Well maintained

Demerits:
1. No public toilet
2. No drinking water facility
