This park is in itself quite nice, but suffers from terrible neglect by the local council. Shrubbery and trees spend months overgrown, only to be absolutely butchered by the tree surgeons when they finally do turn up. Issues like falling trees are left for months at a time without being addressed. The pumps for the ponds stopped working almost a full year ago and the council has just ignored it, while the water has festered, looks polluted and smells of sulphur. It could be much nicer if it was cared for, but it is still quite a nice unique space in the middle of the area, and good for a relaxing short stroll (it's quite small).
Update - since Summer 2022, both of the ponds have almost completely dried up, with not much more than a layer of scum in some mud representing what were once ponds :(

It is a lovely park. I like the way it has been segmented into different sections. A new community garden is being created by the volunteers by the King Charles Crescent.
Surprisingly it doesn't get very crowded. The grounds get a bit soggy during the rainy season.
