I've been here a couple of times, sometimes just passing by, I enjoyed the Japanese Cultural Festival as a volunteer and in general it's a lovely place for families and to visit on your own.

But please do some maintenance at the kids park, some swings squeak like they've never known oil, and on a sunny, busy, noisy day, it can be the last straw to make anyone lookin for peace and quiet to leave with a headache.

Cute local Japanese-themed garden, surrounded by a running track. Small but lovely yo take a break for a bit. Family-friendly.

I came here by mistake! I was looking for a Japanese garden in west London and found this one. It is tiny though! I realised later that I really wanted to go to the one in Holland Park, which is called Kyoto Gardens. I went to that one later that day. It is much nicer ( see my review on that and photos).

Love it every time I pass. Great place and beautiful to look at . I wish there was not so many dudes hiding in the bushes and smoking. It spoils it.

Beautiful at this time of year. From the smallest set of zebra striped grasses and thujas to the graceful willows and the contortions of the larger trees claiming the widest spaces the garden teems with vibrant colours. Take some time to breathe in its gentle majesty, let the contrast of its calm slow down your busy mind. Pause and rewind, spend precious moments in the company of nature that has no agenda other than to survive and thrive. We need to pay it more attention instead of simply passing it by expecting it to be there for us when we're very often not there to appreciate it. This is why this garden is so amazing. Its simple message whispers in your ear if you turn your head away from your screen to listen
