Byron Recreation Ground

Excellent for walking. The open gym remains wet after rains. Perhaps some mopping arrangement would be welcome.

Beautiful place, naturally maintained.
Only thing is people should be more responsible to keep this place clean.

It's huge park good for walking, cycling, picnic. Has separate area for kids with swings.

I was shocked at how much litter there was in the children's play area. The playing apparatus had graffiti on it and the play area covered in woodchip had the waterproof membrane completely exposed causing my granddaughter to trip and fall. I reported it to the council

It's ok it's a bit small when the park is full

I am a long time user of this playground and whilst there is a brilliant range of equipment for all age ranges and some gym machinery, it breaks my heart to see the litter all over the ground and the bins provided largely empty.
I know it's a public space but honestly, it is such a shame that some users treat it so badly and leave it I such a horrible state for others.
What the answer is, I dont know but it could such lovely place if only more people would care for it, take their stuff home or at least get it near the bins. Other than that, I have enjoyed it for many years.

Nice park with so many bins inside the children's play area as a good reminder to the litter bugs!
