Queenscroft Park

Nice park thought a lot of people use it to walk their dogs and don't clean after them. Excellent playground for kids.

So it is a amazing place they added new stuff on the play groud but It gets boring sometimes they should turn the ball cage into a astro pitch

Nice play area for children.

The park is very spacious. The grounds are well kept and is generally very clean. The play area is a nice fenced area and has benches and play equipment inside. There's a lot of space to go for a run and it's a lovely mix of inclines, declines and flat surfaces. Good for dogs, kids, jogs and bike rides.

Reasonably sized park on a hill.

Used to be a great park for the locals but now the council refuse to mow the grass across the whole park. According to the Greenwich Council website the majority of the park’s grass is meant to be cut every 2 weeks and the rest every 8 weeks. There has been no mowing for at least 4 months. Bushes are overgrown which mean people with wheelchairs or mobility scooters can’t use the paths. Dogs are regularly getting ticks.
Several of us have complained to the council to no avail. I wrote to councillor Ian Hawking directly but no response. I posted about this issue on the “Friends of Queenscroft” Facebook group but they deleted the post.
Locals have now lost full access to this open space. It’s such a shame.
