Down Lane Park

Nice place with jogging trails, exc equipment and a few benches where you can sit and watch the squirrels play. Great grass and plenty trees if you wanna have a lil picnic

Nice park . Football and 3 tennis courts available. Lighting for tennis could be better though

Park is central to this part of the community, in the midst of a built up area, used alot, green space are so important to aid our well being, need more care an attention.

This is a nice little park that is soon to be extended we hear. It could do with a few volunteers to give it a spruce up - and what about a re-wilding area to encourage a few birds and a more at one with nature feeling? We live in hope!

It is a small park but with lots of the possibilities for activities. I saw a couple walking around the park, a man running, people walking and playing with their dogs, people exercising on their own… oh and there is an outside gym with instructions (… as you can see in one of my pictures. I like it. I am planning to use it (… it will be fun 🤩.) There are opportunity to playing tennis, football, basketball too. … and their playground is amazing (… I am not sure my pictures can show it to you, but I am sure you definitely have to try it, even if you think you are an adult.) Oh… and do you like 🍒 . Yes…🤔 Just come and enjoy the taste of it 😉
… but it needs more 🗑 and a few benches under the shadow 🤔.

Free tennis courts as long as you register and it's easy to find a spot.
There is a great charity cafe in the corner got a snack and drink.

It is in a huge park and it is very empty. For example, it would be nice if there were 1-2 cafes. People, students would benefit.
