Lovely park with a massive playground and more then a few sports pitches . Nice smooth foot paths all around the park. Wheelchair friendly but hills are present . Aldi and takeaways are 2 minutes walk away if you want to grab a bite .Nice park for a family day out . Such a shame its tainted by the tragic incident that happened here . A lot of bad reviews are put up due to it , rightfully . Id recommend early morning until afternoon , probably should avoid after that due to limited lighting and no CCTV , at night its a perfect hatching ground for the anti social local lads . Steps should be taken to make this park fully safe , not part time.

Small park with Outside Gym. 2 cycling machine, full body push up bar and aided push up bar that helps half the load. Leg press chair, step section, 2 different chest press seats and not sure what it's called but a wiggle platform plate you twist on to jiggle that arse.

Has a playground with swings, slide and basketball court down the hill with a small play centre which I think serves hot beverages, nothing special. Don't know the opening times think it's just for small toddlers, so wouldn't imagine opened for more then a few hours.

Field is on a slope but grass is well maintained. Good enough for a small dog walk with bins provided.

Lovely for walking the dog. Play area for children. Off the beaten track ad you'd never know it was there. Clean.

A good sized local park with football field, children’s playground, nursery, and outdoor gym equipment. I enjoy taking my dog here and there’s plenty of space for him to run. There’s a gentleman in the neighbourhood who takes phenomenal care of the park voluntarily and has added dog poo bag dispensers and a community herb garden, along with a long list of other projects. Betts Park definitely has a community park feel to it!

Lovely local park with lots of wildlife, a canal and a big playground for children. Could do without people dumping their unwanted furniture at the bottom end.

Really nice fresh open area in the middle of the busy traffic 😃 taking you away from the city atmosphere and giving a nice break

This is a beautiful park with lots of open space for runners and dog walkers, as well as a nice play area for kids with skate ramps and a basketball court too, enclosed in an iconic 'pencil gate' that all kids I know have loved. There is a fab preschool nestled next to the play area and a little hidden river too. I wouldn't advise walking through at night as it can be a crime spot for muggings and attacks sadly.
