The Woodlands Park

Lovely local park. The IceHouse is just a great jump into history of London a couple of centuries ago.

Pleasant wee greenspace. Originally the grounds of an 18th century house. Which now houses The Sybil Elgar Post 16 Education site.
Still retains it's Ice house and the original circular pond was renovated in 2006.
Used as a short cut between Crown Street and Woodlands Avenue.

Unfortunately the people that have habits in the town deter the right people from enjoying and making the most of what is normal.

It was a hidden gem for me. It’s got a pond bog instead of a regular fountain or so, which is amazing if you like natural beauty. Some mature palm trees too.

Hidden from the Acton high street, you are transported back in time. The park is home to a grade ll listed icehouse.

Lots of street drinkers and crack heads but nice people.

Boring. Could do with a play area for kids
