The Golden Acre

Excellent green space in the heart of the community with a well resourced, but not overwhelming playground, nestling beneath the spire of the church.

Only let down by several bins which aren't fit for purpose and are likely to be emptied by the wind or foxes before the council get to them.

This is a good place to go with your children you can spend a good day here. Nice park for the kids to play in and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around for the adults. Or if you want you could have a decent picnic there in the summer

Lovely little park, could do with some proper fences around the Hurst Road edge though as currently dogs can get out on to the road

Perfect for all my kids, great time had by all of us.

Great space for kids, wish there was an outdoor gym for all ages as well. Maybe one day?

Great place for kids and picnics. Lots of space to move around and lots of equipment to play on,and food stores nearby too!
