This park isn't somewhere I like to take my children. Some of the kids that go there are unsupervised and come to the younger children's play area. You will hear obscene language, inappropriate behaviour and smoking. The park would be much better if it was well looked after litter was cleared from the streams and those kids respected the rules and space.

Goresbrook Park Children's Play Area - recently gone through refurbishment and new play equipments and surface were installed! Much better than the the state it was before! Thanks to the local authority to redo this play area!

However, I am really disappointed to see that there is not a single accessible play equipment! It was redone only months before - local authority should have added accessible play equipments for vulnerable and disabled children! There are plenty of play equipments that are being built for disabled children! 😔 😒 😔 😒😔 😒😔 😒😔 😒

Barking & Dagenham Council needs to look into this and install accessible play equipments in the existing play areas along with dedicated accessible play area in order to increase the outdoor access to vulnerable and disabled children! Play Area is an essential and integral part of development of all the children!

Great to get away during your lunch break if you work close by. Also a lovely park for the children during the holidays or on the weekends. There are seats and the grass is lovely. The children entertainment is great also.

The playground for younger children needs attention. The floor has lots of holes and faded paint. Often the stream is full of rubbish and fly tipping stuff like grocery carts and mattresses. It could be a really beautiful park if there was more care taken.
