Perfect place for walking your dog!
Its very small, probably less than 0.5km long. Just enough space to run around and admire the wildlife.... lots of squirrels, birds etc

Perfect spot for your lunch break when the weather is nice.
There’s a cricket pitch used during weekends and sometimes during the week. Most of the time is empty, means you can play with your dog or kids.
Also there’s a gated playground for children where dogs are not allowed. Perfect for small kids.

Less than 5 mins walk to the train station.

It's very small and loses most of its open space to a cricket pitch, which is a huge waste in a town centre. The wooded area can be nice for a stroll around, but there is still that feeling that the place is small, as a few minutes walking and you have to turn or walk out of the park.

My kids love coming to this park - there's lots to do for all ages, it's spread out nicely, and there's benches and bins dotted around well!

Claire park, has so much potential, seriously lack of investment for many years.. you council, need to start spending the money, your are getting from all the devolopments . What is, it 50 plus million, that your sitting on. What did the mayor say. We're waiting for a rainy day.. just a joke. Start spending the money. I know a lot of you get paid more than the prime minister. Which is a joke. No one in government departments should get more than the prime minister... I'm not sure if the council work for Disney, but it seems like that. No real ideas for the future of our town. No worries about the climate, just keep building houses, for more pollution and they all travel to London every day.. looks like to me, council have no interest in reducing our carbon footprint. Let's just double the size of the town. Amazing what greed can do to people..

Nice Park, plenty of benches to rest on and a play area. Careful of parking times if you stop in Clair Hall, alternatively maybe use Waitrose parking opposite, but always read the parking info

Nice, sunny and quiet on a Saturday morning. Took break from exercise and honestly nearly fell asleep lol. Looked very picturesque the way the sunlight travelled through the trees.

A lovely wooded Park with a large flat playing field. Long winding paths in the woods surrounded by wild garlic (in season).a small play park for toddlersn fenced off and dog free.
