A cosy area. Lots of sitting places. Two playgrounds, a basketball and football court. A cricket ground for the cricket lovers. If you want to watch volleyball, you can always come to the park after 5pm and you will find people playing it competitively. But if you just want sit, relax and enjoy the view, there are enough seats in the uphill area which is high enough for you to see the entire field. It is very therapeutic.

Nice park. Good fenced in area for little ones, then another play area for older children 6+. Found a lot of children under 6 dominating the older area at times, when the kids should be able to play without worrying about hurting the little ones. There are two swings in the older section, but ones has been cut (metal chain). Not always clean, and occasional drug paraphernalia since it stopped being locked overnight.

The play park is well worth a visit. The trees are such a strong part of the park: they overlook Weedon Hill, which is awesome in itself.

Downsides: couple of drinks hanging out there after dark and the grass gets waterlogged for weeks after a heavy rainfall and when the grass is long in the summer the midges come out and bite you to death.

Beautiful park steeped in history.
Great for walking 🚶‍♀️, jogging and dogwalking. A good play area for children, also hosts a basketball 🏀court.
Just a shame the council doesn't open the toilets.
Peaceful, calm and tranquil environment 😌.

Good dog walking park.
Lots of different smells and places to explore.
Nice open areas for a good run or training.
Always seem to see or meet other dog walkers.

A lovely diverse park with plenty of playing areas for kids. They have just installed a new play area for smaller children. It also has a basketball court/small concrete football pitch. In the summer, you can even catch a game of cricket
