Southgate Park

Always love going here to walk my dog. The woods have huge iron age charcoal pits which kids big and small ride their bikes in and out of.

amazing place for the little ones and the big ones...

The funfair is a rip off. Just to accompany your kids you have to pay the same amount as the kids going for rides.. Doesn't make any sense. Also it says unlimited rides and game stall etc.. Although you couldn't use the tickets to play the game stalls. They all said £3/£4 a go. Entry should be free. Trying to Rob as many people as they can.

I went 2the fun fair saturday here loved it 🤣🤣 got sweets, went on rides had pukka day xxxx 😁😁

Southgate Park is a lovely place, plenty of open space it has a free carpark, a tennis court, rugby pitches, a play area, a skating play area which kids and adults can use, also a really attractive bocce court. It has wheelchair ♿ access to all areas. I love going for a jog there, it's so refreshing seeing the view along 2 sides of the park there's forest with walkways going through which looks amazing on one side is a trian track small children enjoy to see the trains pass .Also there is plenty of benches and tables for picnics and chilling. I recommend going.

Myself and my partner took a subway to enjoy the views. Took a walk about the park/field to find the play park is still standing,that was nice to see,as the park is just as old as me and was nice to see my 2 year old have just as much fun as I did. Shame bits are missing now,but we still had fun😅

Excellent skatepark, bordered by Woodlands so great for dog/walkers.
Clean facilities, lively clubhouse when open

All good except some weedos smoking pot , it's high time some Policing happens around the ground
